Srinagar: Syed Ali Geelani, Mirwaiz Dr Mohamad Omer Farooq and Mohammad Yasin Malik on Friday said that those arrested by NIA are subjected to psychological torture.
Referring to ploy and deceit played by Delhi and its stooges, resistance leadership said that they have deployed NIA sleuths and resistance leaders are being harassed and fictitious cases filed against them. It is a well thought out plan and ploy to defame movement and harass leadership.
According to a statement issued to KNS, meanwhile resistance leadership called peaceful protest on August 5th on Saturday after Zuhar prayers against continuous bloodshed, detentions & NIA raids
Lashing at PDP led administration and Mehbooba Mufti, the leadership said that they will be recalled for their autocratic behavior.
As a part of their devilish game Mehbooba Mufti is utilizing the services of NIA as a war weapon against leadership and thus gaging the genuine voices, said statement.
Mehbooba Mufti has crossed all limits and there is no legal justification for such arbitrary measures, said leadership and added that leadership and cadre is the main target for authorities.
They added that it is a pre-planned psychological crackdown, so that they surrender and stop voicing the sentiments of their nation, thereby covering and shielding their atrocities and barbarism against common and unarmed people.
The statement while commenting over extending judicial remand of Peer Saif Ullah, Nayeem Ahmad Khan, Altaf Ahmad Shah, Raja Meraj u Din Kalwal, till August 14th and handing over Shahid ul Islam, Farooq Ahmad Dar and Ayaz Akbar to judicial custody till September 1st, said that NIA is prolonging their detention on fabricated and fictitious charges.
Joint leadership said that Delhi through biased media and its agencies like NIA is enacting a drama to evolve wrong impressions about ongoing freedom movement in state.
Resistance leadership in their joint statement expressed their concern over the treatment meted out to Shabir Ahmad Shah in Delhi court and condemned the prolongation of Shah’s arrest. This illustrates the fascist dogma of rulers in new Delhi and it is evident that writ of Jan Sangh cadre is overpowering the Indian courts too.
Commenting over the defamation move against resistance leadership through its biased media, the leadership said that it is a well thought out ploy to bring disgrace to movement and added that their prime target is to create confusion, misgiving and suspicion between people and leadership.
Paying glowing tributes to slain youth in Kulgam and Bijbehara gunfight, the leadership said that we are duty bound to carry their mission to its logical end.
The leadership expressed their deep concern over civilian killings and said that forces are showering bullets and pellets over unarmed and innocent youth.
Resistance leadership strongly condemned the raids on Tehreek-e-Huriyat district office in Maisuma and added that authorities are creating scare and even peaceful political activities are denied. (KNS)
