Srinagar: Chairman of All Parties Hurriyat Conference, Syed Ali Geelani has said that the haughty approach and wrong policies of India have created mayhem and are continuously instigating bloodshed in the territory.
Syed Ali Geelani while paying glowing tributes to slain youth Abu Dujana, Adil Ahmad & civilian Firdous Ahmad, said that, “Ours is a rightful struggle and we have no intentions to separate or snatch any part of India, ‘’hence, we have no hostile sentiments against the people of India’’
“We have a definite goal and our struggle is disciplined & not pointless,” Geelani said in his statement and added that we are duty bound to carry this mission to its logical end.”
Referring to recent statement of Indian Army Chief, General Bipin Rawat, Geelani said under a well-thought-out plan, Kashmiri youth are being pushed to the wall and compelled to choose other options of resentment.
Terming the situation in the territory as appalling, he said youth are being assassinated and attempts are being made to malign the freedom struggle.
They are our hero’s while referring to these brave hearts, said Geelani and added that they are sacrificing their precious lives for our future and their sacrifices won’t go waste or unnoticed.
Meanwhile on the directions of Syed Ali Geelani a high-level delegation comprising of Omer Adil Dar, Mudasir Nadvi and activists and leaders from district Pulwama visited bereaved families and extended condolences and participated in funeral prayers of martyrs.
Omer Adil Dar led the funeral prayers of Firdous Ahmad and the deputation also paid their visit to grieved family in Lehar and participated in funeral prayers of slain youth Adil Ahmad. (KNS)
