Tarigami’s pacemaker operation performed successfully at SKIMS

Srinagar: A day after CPI (M) leader and MLA Kulgam, Muhammad Yousuf Tarigami suffered heart block; the doctors at SK Institute of Medical Sciences Soura, here on Monday successfully planted him a permanent pacemaker.
A senior doctor at SKIMS said that Tarigami is stable while the operation was conducted successfully today.
He said that the mainstream politician is currently admitted in Intensive Care Unit at SKIMS.
Pertinently, CPI (M) leader was on Sunday morning admitted at SKIMS, after he had complained of severe heart problem.
Officials had said that Tarigami had heart block problem and immediately after admitting him, temporary pacemaker operation was performed.
Meanwhile, former chief minister and leader of opposition in Rajya Sabha (MP), Ghulam Nabi Azad today visited SKIMS and enquired the health condition of Tarigami.
Azad, was in Delhi and reached SKIMS early today to enquire the health condition of Tarigami at SIMS Soura where he was operated today.
He also prayed for the early recovery of senior CPI (M) leader. (KNS)
