Geelani condoles Mirwaiz over his uncle’s death

Srinagar: Hurriyat (G) Chairman Syed Ali Geelani today condoled the demise of Mirwaiz Umar Farooq’s maternal uncle by telephonically calling the latter.
Talking to KNS, Geelani said that he called Mirwaiz by phone and expressed deep grief over the death of his maternal uncle.
“I expressed deep condolence and sympathy with the Mirwaiz Umar Sahab and the bereaved family. May Allah bestow the departed soul with His mercy,” Geelani told KNS.
Geelani said that he condemns the authorities and the government for not allowing Mirwaiz to participate in the funeral prayers of his uncle.
Mirwaiz’s maternal uncle, Tariq Umar Buchh, has passed away today morning after illness.
