Baramulla police busts HM recruitment module

Baramulla: Police on Sunday claimed to have busted a module of Hizbul Mujahideen outfit which has been active in the area to lure young boys into militancy.
According to the police statement issued to KNS, this module was being spearheaded by Hizbul Mujahideen commander Parvez Wani alias Mubashir R/O Gagloora Handwara. Those arrested by police are Ansarullah Tantaray S/O Mohammad Munawar Tantary R/O Raipora,Palhalan, Abdul Rashid Bhat S/O Sonaullah Bhat R/O Minipora,Sopore Mehrajuddin Kak S/O Nazir Ahmad Kak R/O Andargami, Pattan.
The statement reads that the module had plans to send a lot many boys to Pakistan on valid visa to get them trained in militant camps of Pakistan. One of the accused Abdul Rashid Bhat had visited Pakistan in the month of May this year and obtained training for undertaking militant activities in KHALID BIN WALEED camp of HM located in Pakistan. He had got the visa from Pakistani High Commission in New Delhi on the recommendation of one separatist organization.
Meanwhile police claims to have recovered Arms, ammunition and Rupees One Lakh Indian Currency from their possession. Further said in the statement that this module have been not only luring young boys to terrorism but as well providing all logistic support to other militant of HM outfit.
Pertinent to mention here that recently Baramulla Police saved around 10 boys meant to be inducted in militant ranks from the clutches of militants and were handed over to parents.
Meanwhile a Case FIR No 112 /2017 under sections of 13 Unlawful Activities Prevention Act has been registered in Police Station Pattan and investigation has been taken up. (KNS)
