Srinagar: Syed Salahuddin the Chief Commander of amalgam of local militant outfits United Jehad Council (UJC) has said that they are the terrorists for India and the imperialistic countries only while it is the duty of Pakistan to extend logistic, moral, diplomatic and political support to the people of Kashmir and help them to attain their objective.
While addressing a massive gathering on the first anniversary of Hizb militant commander Burhan Wani in Muzaffarabad, the UJC Chief described Burhan Wan as the real hero of Kashmiris who according to him rejuvenated the Kashmir Freedom Struggle. “The nation salutes him and remembers his sacrifices with moist eyes with a pledge that Kashmir Freedom Struggle will be taken to its logical conclusion,” he said.
“The Indian and American ‘terrorist’ tag hardly matters. People of Jammu and Kashmir are the servants of humanity who will welcome India if it agrees to resolve the K-issue in the light of United Nation resolutions. UJC will crush the insolent behavior of India if it continues to target innocent people of Kashmir,” Syed Salahuddin said.
As per a statement issued to news agency CNS, Syed Salahuddin said that both India and UN has accepted the right to self-determination of People of Kashmir but even after the expiry of seven decades world powers have failed to implement the UN resolutions on ground. “After 42 years of peaceful resistance, people of Kashmir started armed struggle against India. India used all her resources to crush our just struggle and even executed popular Kashmiri leaders like Muhammad Maqbool Bhat and Muhammad Afzal Guroo for the fault of their none.”
The UJC Chief said the criminal silence of world powers has added to the woes of people of Kashmir who are in great trouble. “If world powers really want peace to get establish in Sub-Continent then it must come forward and play a role in the resolution of Kashmir issue,” he said.
“Unity is the best way to pay tributes to Burhan Wani whose martyrdom brought nation under one roof. To crush the freedom struggle, India has been pumping uncountable money in Kashmir but nation needs to be vigilant and united.”
Salahuddin said that during a span of his career as militant, Burhan Wani gave goose bumps to India.
Conference was also addressed by Hafiz Abdul Rehman Makki, Sheikh Jameel-ur-Rehman, Muhamamd Usman, General Muhammad Abdullah, Mufti Muhamamd Asghar Kashmiri, Muhammad Ahmed Sagar, Sheikh Aqeel-ur-Rehman, Commander Shamsher Khan, Khawaja Farooq, Raja Saqib Majid, Abdul Aziz Alvi, Bakhat Zameen Khan, Muhammad Rashid, Qari Abdul Majid, Maulana Qari Abdul Malik, Muhammad Yousuf Bhat and Maulana Sajad Shahid.
