DFP delegation visits Kokernag, pays tributes to slain martyrs

Srinagar: On the directions of chairman Democratic Freedom Party Shabir Ahmad Shah, a high level delegation on Sunday participated the funeral prayers of Bashir Lashkari at his ancestral Soaf-shali village of Kokernag in south Kashmir.
The delegation led by Freedom Party’s Er Farooq Ahmad Khan addressed the mammoth gathering and paid rich tributes to slain martyrs and express solidarity with the bereaved family.
Meanwhile, chairman Shabir Ahmad Shah addressed the gathering telephonically in which he said the ‘sacrifices of martyrs’ brought the nation and resistance leadership on a single platform and need of the hour is to take forward the movement in a unified manner.
The delegation members include Maulana Mudasir Ahmad, Maulana Sajad Ahmad, Maulana Iqbal Buland and other senior members and activists of the party. (KNS)
