Srinagar: Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has extended greetings to Muslim Ummah in general and muslims of state in particular, on the auspicious occasion of Shab-e-qader and Jumat ul Vida.
PDP vice president Mohammad Sartaj Madni and General Secretary Nizamudin Bhat has said that the party share the sentiments with devotees on pious days of Jumat-ul Vida and Shab-e-Qader with the hope that these pious occasions will be marked with religious fervor and harmony.
“PDP appeals all the devotees for praying peace and prosperity in the region in general and Kashmir valley in particular”. The leaders said that it is party’s sentiment and conviction that these occasions get us closer to accomplishment of our aspirations. This is bound to happen if we unitedly stand to struggle through reconciliation and peaceful means.
The party has advised all the administrative departments to extend every possible facility to the devotees so that they get required satisfaction and support to perform their religious obligations without any difficulty and handicap.
The party said that it has been the ardent desire of party president Mehbooba to see that people of state flourish in an atmosphere of devotion and love.
The leaders said that Transport department and traffic police also is expected to run hassle free transport to main Shrines and Mosques of the state to facilitate devotees on the pious occasion with better traffic management. (KNS)
