GoI revises incentive scheme to generate employment for PwDs in private sector

SRINAGAR: Union Government has launched revised exiting scheme “Incentive scheme for providing employment to persons with disabilities in the private sector.”
The scheme is revised to make it more attractive for the private sector and would address the issues of employability and availability of skilled man power related to persons with disabilities (PwDs).
The Department of Employment, Labor Commissioner, and Industries and Commerce have been directed to implemented the scheme in letter and spirit so that persons with all types of disabilities get opportunity for employment in the private sector.
The detailed revised Scheme/Guidelines containing the quantum of financial assistance, conditions of eligibility and other terms and conditions are available on the website www.disabilityaffairs.gov.in.
