Srinagar: Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF), Muhammad Yasin Malik Monday said that the horrible desire of Indian army chief to kill every Kashmiri shows criminal mindset of Indian rulers and their forces.
While reacting to the recent statement of Indian army chief asserting that he wishes Kashmiri protesters should use arms instead of stones so that his forces are able to kill them all freely, Malik said that no one should be surprised on this statement as India is slowly unveiling itself as ‘a fascist state’ where new kinds of Hitler and Mussolini are taking birth under the garb of the biggest democracy.
“Height of the shamelessness is such that human shielding an unarmed young man is termed as bravery and innovation and oppression against unarmed Kashmiris is being justified by terming situation as an ugly war,” he said.
He said that Kashmiris have been facing Indian wrath from last 70 years but have not surrendered before the might of India despite all its ugliness and General Rawat should remember that Kashmiris will continue to fight ugly ‘Indian occupation’ despite all these intimidations and assertions.
Malik said that recent statements from Indian political and military leadership justifying Kashmiri killings and human rights abuses bear a testimony to the fact that this biggest democracy is fast changing into a fascist dictatorship and time is not far when Indian people and the international community which for its business interests is not paying any heed to these ridiculous statements and barbaric acts, will taste its bitterness and wrath too.
“Jammu Kashmir has the highest concentration of military in the world; About ten Lakh Indian army personal are suppressing unarmed civilians’ population from last many decades in the name of fighting a few hundred militants which is in fact a shame in itself,” he said.
JKLF chairman said that “intimidations, threats, arrests and other means of oppression can not deter us from perusing the path of resistance against illegal occupation.”
He said that moral boosting of ‘oppressive forces’ that have performed gallantry jobs like Kunanposhpora Mass Rape and Mechal like fake encounters is required for India to hide Indian war crimes in Jammu Kashmir but “we want to convey to the Indian leadership both political and military that do whatever you can and use whatever force you want to but you will not succeed in breaking the resolve of Kashmiris who have decided to resist every tyranny and end the illegal occupation of their land.”
Terming the imposition of curfew and other oppressive measures in Ramazan days as ‘most condemnable’, JKLF chairman said that “inflicting harm to Muslims and making their lives harder in the month of Ramzan shows the animosity of RSS influenced rulers.”
Meanwhile, terming the murder of martyr Asiya and martyr Nelofar of Shupian and concealing the truth behind that crime as ‘another example of Indian criminal attitude towards Kashmiris’, JKLF chairman said that “after the Rape and cold blooded murder of these innocent daughters of Kashmir, the killers were provided the opportunity to escape the grip of the law. Unless the perpetrators of that crime are brought to book, the chastity and dignity of women folk in Kashmir is at risk.”
Terming Shopian incident as “most inhuman and barbaric act”, JKLF chairman said that “the episode is heart wrenching tragedy. Dignified nations while pursuing their struggle never tolerate the disrespect of their mothers and sisters and never forget these sacrifices. It is obligatory to recall and remember these tragedies and sacrifices till those involved in such cases are exposed and punished.”
While paying tributes to Asiya and Neelofar, JKLF chairman prayed for their heavenly abode and expressed solidarity with their bereaved family. (KNS)
