Four militants, three soldiers killed in Kupwara encounter: Army

‘Srinagar: Army Sunday said that four militants and three of its soldiers were killed in the encounter which raged in Nowgam sector of border district of Kupwara.
“Four terrorists were killed and three soldiers attained martyrdom,” defense spokesman Rajesh Kalia told KNS, adding that four weapons and other warlike stores were recovered at the encounter site. He said that the “sanitisation operation is on”.
The encounter between militant and army erupted yesterday in Nowgam area of Bangus Valley near LoC. (KNS)
