6171 aspirants participate in constable recruitment: Police

Srinagar: Police recruitment process for the post of constable continues for the second day with tremendous participation of youth in District Anantnag and Bandipora.
In these districts, both male and female candidates in large numbers are turning up for the recruitment venues.
In Bandipora, the two days recruitment rally concluded with 2797 candidates appeared in the first phase of recruitment process among which 842 candidates were declared qualified.
In Anantnag, as many as 3374 candidates appeared in physical test in first two days among which 1161 were declared qualified. The recruitment rally in Anantnag will continue for the next two days.
The candidates who have qualified the physical test will have to appear in the written test for final selection for which the dates will be issued separately. (KNS)
