Class work at SP, Women’s college to remain suspended: DC

Srinagar: The district administration Srinagar Wednesday said that the class work at SP Higher Secondary School and Women’s College M A Road will remain suspended on Thursday.
Deputy Commissioner (DC) Srinagar, Farooq Ahmad Lone told KNS that the teaching work in these two educational institutes in Srinagar will remain suspended on May 11.
The class work at SP HSS and Women’s College M A Road has been suspended by the authorities following the protests in the city’s commercial hub, Lal Chowk, here on Tuesday (May 09).
The protests by the students continued since Apr 17 against the alleged thrashing of students in Government Degree College Pulwama on Apr 15.
